WHAT IS MICROCANNULA?
Basically, microcannula is an improved version of the traditional hypodermic needles used to administer injection treatments. Rather than having a sharp tip like the needle, this method uses a blunt end that makes your injection treatment much easier. It's also flexible, allowing it to move more easily than a traditional needle.
Blunt-tip cannula is a small tube with a rounded end, specifically designed for atraumatic intradermal injections of fluids such as Loyoderm Dermal Fillers, Hyaluronic Acid Filler (HA filler) and other injectable fillers. The Blunt microcannula is truly revolutionizing the way doctors are performing facial fillers injections. With the fexible blunt cannula, Doctors can slide the Microcannula under the patient's skin so that the filler can be applied with practically no pain or bruising for the patient. With no local anesthesia required, it is truly a revolution in the field providing the most comfortable injection experience for patients.
Micro cannula has lateral opening on the tip of the cannula allowing the product to be dispensed more evenly. Over the years a wide array of blunt-tip micro-cannulae have been designed that offer variety in flexibility, size and diameter, but all are very small in diameter. The modern micro-cannula allow both superficial and more involved procedures. Different sizes can also be used to inject fillers of nearly any type of level of viscosity.
A blunt cannula allows blood vessels to be 'pushed aside' as the microcannula moves around the tissue under the skin instead of piercing the blood vessels as with traditional needles.
BENEFITS OF MICRO CANNULA
Higher Maneuverability: Your doctor will be able to perform your treatment more quickly and with less pain.
Little Risk of Damaging Blood Vessels: Traditional hypodermic needles can damage small blood vessels, while this method all but erases this risk.
Less Tissue Damage: Patients often experience less bruising when using this method.
Less Downtime: Since there is usually only one insertion site when using microcannula, you won't have to spend as much time recovering.
New Collagen: The design of microcannula is meant to stimulate the production of new collagen to improve your facial volume.
Fewer Side Effects: When facial injections are administered using this method, you're likely to experience fewer, if any, side effects.
